CiT - Safeguarding: An Introduction to Keeping Adults and Children Safe *REGISTRATION CLOSED*
This two hour session will be facilitated by Volunteer Now and is suitable for staff, board members, directors and volunteers who have limited contact with adults and children through their work. It covers the legal and policy context of adult and child safeguarding, categories of abuse, dealing with a disclosure, reporting procedures and boundaries for staff and volunteers.
Volunteer Now is the lead organisation for promoting and supporting volunteering across Northern Ireland and they have developed this session as a response to the Covid crisis.
Who is it for?
This webinar is only open community groups and their staff who manage volunteers and are working in The Mount and Ballymacarrett areas of East Belfast.
