Dormant Accounts Fund NICVA Consultation

Primary tabs

9 December 2019 -
10:00am to 12:00pm

The Dormant Accounts Fund was originally established by former Chancellor Gordon Brown back in 2007. Northern Ireland received an allocation, but the money has remained unused since then. NICVA has lobbied every Finance Minister during the period to set the Fund’s priorities and make it operational.

The Department of Finance has now directed the National Lottery Community Fund to deliver this special fund of non-lottery money to increase capacity, resilience and sustainability in the VCSE sector.

NICVA is consulting its members on the Fund before we agree a submission to the Community Funds Consultation.

The Head of the National Lottery Community Fund Kate Beggs will attend.

Please help shape the NICVA submission.
