Exercise in a box - Responding to a Cyber Incident (Belfast)

Registration closed
24 January 2024 -
10:00am to 11:30am

Exercise in a Box is a tool created by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) that will help your organisation find out how resilient you are to a cyber attack and evaluate your readiness to respond to a cyber incident in a safe training environment.

This 2.5-hour workshop exercise will provide a safe environment for you to evaluate and practice the skills and decision-making mechanisms you need to respond to a cyber incident. By engaging with this session you will find out how well your organisation is protected (or not), and where opportunities for improvements may lie.

What are the benefits?

By engaging with this exercise you will:

  • Establish how effective your current cyber security practices are
  • Test and check your existing policies and procedures
  • Improve your organisations internal relationships and skills
  • Identify areas for improvement

How does it work?

The exercise works by taking a small group of key staff through a series of questions relating to a specific cyber security scenario. By completing these exercises you will understand how strong your current policies and plans are as well as where improvements can be made.

We are delivering two workshops in partnership with The NI Cyber Security Centre (NICSC) and The Rural Community Network (RCN). There are two workshops planned one in Cookstown and one in Belfast.
