The Advancement of Religion has become the box to tick if a groups seeks to define itself as a faith charity - but is it the most effective way to define a faith ethos and identity?

Many faith-based charities have ‘the advancement of religion’ as a primary charitable purpose believing that this classification confirms their faith identity.
