NICVA is proud to facilitate the development of an Impact Practice Network in Northern Ireland. This session will agree the Terms of Reference of the Network, as well as share learning and provide opportunities for networking. This session is open to people working in the voluntary, community and social enterprise sectors.

The first meeting of the potential network took place on 14 November, and was attended by individuals from across the sector.  In terms of the focus of the new Network, interest was expressed for it to provide opportunities to:

  • Share good practice
  • Share learning
  • Build understanding of tools and measures
  • Connect individuals working on impact
  • Have a collective voice on impact

We wish to invite all the individuals who attended our first meeting to sign up to this session.  There is an opportunity for individuals who missed the first meeting, to get involved in the  Impact Practice Network. The Network will be of most benefit to the following individuals:

  • Work or volunteer in the voluntary, community or social enterprise sectors and
  • Be responsible for or involved with impact practice and
  • Have impact practice experience that you are open to sharing with others

Feedback from the first meeting included:

Terrific diverse group and appetite for change’.

‘Great initial meeting, which has shown the collective potential of the VCSE sector on impact’.

‘I’m excited for the development of this network and to learn from others in the voluntary and community sector’.

‘Valuable, collaborative working’

If this sounds like something you could contribute to, please sign up to attend our next meeting, where we will agree of Terms of Reference and share learning.  We look forward to connecting and sharing impact learning.
