Introduction to Business Planning (CFNI) **REGISTRATION CLOSED**
This webinar is an introduction to business planning for social enterprises in the early stages and those considering starting a social enterprise. It will provide an overview of the key facets of what is contained in a typical and successful business plan and reporting ideas. This session will be delivered by Stephen McGarry from WorkWest.
It is provided as a follow on session to Starting a social enterprise on 27 January delivered by Social Enterprise NI.
Stephen McGarry is a highly experienced business advisor specialising in supporting the third sector in Northern Ireland. He has been supporting social enterprises in all sectors start up and grow for over 20 years. Stephen works with Social Enterprises across all phases of the busines planning process and was recognised in the 2020 Social Enterprise Futures Roll of Honour.
Content will include:
- Explanation of why we need to engage in business planning
- Overview of contents of a typical plan using the business model canvas
- Description of each part of the canvas/plan from executive summary to legal structures and marketing and financials
