Introduction to the Big Give **REGISTRATION CLOSED**
The Big Give is a registered charity and the UK's number 1 match funding platform. Specialising in connecting charities, philanthropists and the public to make a greater impact, the platform has helped raise over £156m for thousands of great causes through the power of match funding.
The Big Give’s research has found 84% of respondents felt that they were more likely to give if matching was offered and some donors give more when their donations are match-funded. Additionally, the average matched gift made through the Big Give is £333 while the average unmatched gift is £132 with one in three donors saying that they gave a larger gift because matching was applied to their donation. Probably most well-known for their Christmas Challenge, an annual match funding campaign raising millions of pounds, The Big Give also runs other match funding opportunities for charities.
Sahil Shah, Partnerships Manager for the Big Give, is responsible for organizing their campaigns and ensuring that charities get the most out of their platform.
