Meet the Funder: Benefact Trust – a refreshed approach to grant funding

Primary tabs

1 June 2023 -
10:00am to 11:00am

Benefact Trust is one of the UK’s largest grant-giving trusts. Since its Foundation in 1972, the Trust has awarded over £235 million in grants to churches, Christian charities, and communities.

Benefact Trust (previously Allchurches Trust) rebranded in 2022 to reflect its broader scope of giving. As the Trust continues to strengthen its new brand, Grants Officer for Ireland, Andrew Bass, invites you to learn more about the grant-giving charity, its new grants framework, and the social impact the Trust wants to help facilitate.

Two new grants programmes launched in 2023, starting with the introduction of the Community Impact Grants programme. This programme aims to support projects that directly address major issues in today’s society, as well as helping churches to grow their congregations and support for the community.

This was shortly followed by the launch of the Building Improvement Grants programme to protect and enhance Christian buildings; ensuring their continued use for generations to come.

In this free, online event, Andrew Bass will talk about the Trust and rebrand, the grant programmes available, key criteria, and funding levels. They’ll also be an opportunity to ask questions.

We look forward to seeing you there!
