Roger managed to translate his obvious technical knowledge into accessible, easy-to-action tips and advice. An excellent intro to podcasting which gives participants the knowledge, tools and confidence to give it a go and - more importantly - make it work for their communications needs.
The course was very informative and I learned so much from the setup background tasks to marketing and launch. Excited to get started. Got loads of inspiration and ideas!
Roger provided a clear understanding of the steps needed to set up a new podcast from scratch. His enthusiasm for and knowledge of this area is clear in his patient, methodical approach.
Roger Gowdy is highly experienced in all things podcasting and audio/visual production. Starting his training in the world leading Sonic Arts Research Centre in Belfast, Roger completed his Masters in 2005, and since then has been producing audio visual content for organisations all over the world, including the US, Eastern Europe, Africa and at home in NI.
Roger has launched, hosted and edited multiple podcasts with particular focus on the not-for-profit sector, so is ideally placed to help guide organisations as they start their journey into podcasting.
