*Postponed until November* - Developing reflective practice in the faith sector:
Primary tabs
Reflective practice was developed in disciplines such as teaching, medicine and social work to learn from real life experiences. People would think about encounters with their students, patients, or clients, how these worked and what lessons they could take away. They could also talk to others about their learning and share that to improve how they all undertake their work. Reflective practice is the act of thinking about our experiences in order to learn from them for the future. In real life, none of us can go back and do things again, we often just have the experience and move forward. But we can undertake activities to think about our experiences, learn from them and develop an action plan for what we will do next. In this course we want to take time to explore the benefits of reflection in action - how we might build reflection into the work we do to improve on our impact and encourage self-development and team development.
