Practical tools for improving governance **FOR FAITH BASED GROUPS ONLY** REGISTRATION CLOSED
With an increasing emphasis on the importance of good governance, it is important that voluntary boards take the time to examine how effective their board is and identify areas where improvements could be made.
This session is aimed at trustees and those that support the board to help them identify ways in which governance may be reviewed in a voluntary organisation.
The training will:
- consider ways in which organisations can be proactive about planning for governance
- explain how to use the Code of Good Governance Healthcheck
- look at different approaches to carrying out board evaluations
- explain how to use the skills audit more effectively.
