Preparing to Tender (CFNI)

Primary tabs

3 December 2020 -
11:00am to 12:30pm

This one and a half hour webinar will help you as you prepare to tender and give you an overview of what you need to consider.

Are you ready to respond to an opportunity to tender for work when it comes along? When you respond to a tender how often are you successful? Good opportunities are hard to find and often come with very short turn around times, so you need to be prepared and make each bid as strong as possible. This webinar will help to dispel your fears around tendering and demystify the language and processes involved.

The content and exercises are built from real examples and experiences from across the voluntary and community sector. You will learn what you need to prepare and consider before submitting a tender.

The session will include:

•           how the income from contracts fits into your wider funding strategy and how to find contract opportunities

•           how to prepare effectively for writing a proposal so you are able to respond to opportunities quickly and efficiently

•           what makes a successful application or tender

•           how bids are assessed and scored
