This online training session delivered by NICVA, will help you follow best practice when supervising and supporting your volunteers. It is aimed at those who are new to managing volunteers or want to improve their practice. It can be attended as part of a two session ILM Level 3 Award in management of volunteers.

This session is on 9 February 2021 from 10am-12.30am. In the current environment managing volunteers presents new challenges and new ways of working. This session is an opportunity to learn from each other and hear how we can follow best practice. The session will include:

  • Developing volunteers
  • Providing effective support to volunteers
  • Evaluating and celebrating achievements
  • How to communicate and exchange feedback

This session will be delivered online via Zoom you will receive log in details in advance when you register. The session is aimed at those who are new to managing and supporting volunteers and those who what to improve their practice.
