What is a mutual bank? What are the benefits of it and why would it be good for the people of Northern Ireland?

Want to find out more?

Mutual banking is an alternative approach to banking as we know it, moving away from the privatised system that exists now and towards a democratised system that gives each of us a say in how our money can be used for our benefit and the benefit of our region.

Hosted by NICVAs  Policy and Public Affairs team in this interactive webinar you will hear from Our Money the campaign to establish a regional mutual bank in Northern Ireland.

Dr Bridget Meehan and Tiziana O’Hara, co-founders of the campaign will join us to discuss proposals for the development of a mutual bank across the region, hear your views and answer questions or queries regarding the campaign.

Participants will be able to submit questions prior to the event and there will also be an opportunity to raise questions throughout the session.

Full details of how to submit questions will be provided after event registration.
