How ready is the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector for the fourth industrial revolution?

This event seeks bring the discussion around the themes of the Fourth Industrial Revolution to the sector including topics such as date and open data, automation of services, use of artificial intelligence, privacy and looking at case studies of how tech has been used to tackle social challenges. It will also consider the challenges and opportunities the fourth industrial revolution may pose and looking future partnerships and collaborations with the tech sector.

10:30am: What are the potential challenges and opportunities for the VCSE sector?          

Overview of Fourth Industrial Revolution report by Miao Sun, QUB student previously on placement with NICVA (Geoff Nuttall, NICVA)          

Challenges & Opportunities (Stephen Gray, NICVA) 

11:00am: Tackling changing social issues and challenges in innovative ways: Case studies of tech collaborations
