Active Citizens Engaged

Active Citizens Engaged was set up in 2011 as a constituted Community and Voluntary group in the Derry~Londonderry area (North West of Northern Ireland). Our primary aim is to ‘Empower, advocate and promote inclusion by sharing resources, information and activities for the Minority Ethnic and local community living in the North West region of Northern Ireland’ and we have a specific focus on older people. 2015 - we became the umbrella organisation to 10 BME group called the Foyle BME Voluntary Collective:- Active Citizens Engaged, North West Success Cultural Association, Polish Abroad, Kabalikat In NorthWest, Second Line (NI), North West Japanese Cultural Group, Inter-Faith North/West, Mandarin Speaking Association, O-Bon On The Foyle, Hindu Association
