All Set Cross Cultural Project

All Set Cross Cultural Project

The All Set project delivers cross-cultural programmes in schools throughout N. Ireland linking all sectors within formal education settings. These programmes are unique to All set and have been running in primary schools since 1996.

Services

The teaching of traditional music is promoted further via the new ‘Fasttrad’ outreach programme within the Portadown and Maghery areas.

The opportunities for performance is advanced further by the All Set group highlighting traditional dance and music from renowned artists promoting the rich culture of our traditional music, song & dance - a service which enhances international visitor’s experience.

The artistic programmes engage participants to develop a greater understanding of their own cultural tradition plus a realisation of a shared cultural heritage which supports personal development plus creative and cultural expression.

The programmes on offer to schools are unique to All Set - they successfully bring together young people from various backgrounds and enable local communities to experience a common cultural interest in the traditional arts.

Each programme facilitates participation and inclusion of all learners regardless of differing abilities.
