Business in the Community NI

Business in the Community NI

Business in the Community is a membership organisation for companies that are committed to doing business responsibly and working together on societal issues where they can make a real difference. We help transform business and make it sustainable, for the benefit of business and the community.

Services

Support for Community:

We link businesses with the voluntary sector and local communities to provide support and facilitate local engagement

That support can take many different forms, depending on the skills and resources you have available and the needs of the community in question.

Our role is to act as a broker to match community needs with your strategic business needs and ensure the outcome is beneficial for all involved.

Hundreds of local community groups, charities and voluntary organisations have already benefitted from this unique type of support – can we do the same for you?  If so, simply register your details at www.bitcni.org.uk/what-we-do/helping-our-community and we promise to respond to you within three working days.

Support for Business:

We work with organisations to develop a bespoke offering that aligns their business needs and objectives with their responsibilities, benefitting both the business and wider society

We mobilise business as a force for good in society. In a nutshell that means helping you to meet your corporate responsibilities, not just because it’s the right thing to do, but because it brings real, often tangible business benefits.

We provide platforms, networking and showcasing opportunities for you to share your good practice with other, like-minded companies and opportunities for you to learn from other members. Corporate responsibility – what does it mean? Corporate responsibility: CR; corporate social responsibility: CSR; corporate citizenship; sustainable business – there are many different guises and names, but ultimately, it’s all about how you manage your business to make profits in a responsible way that has a positive impact on society.
