CDM Community Transport
CDM Community Transport is headquatered in Cookstown and provides vital door to door transport to members living throughout the rual areas of Cookstown & Dungannon. We have been in operation for over 20 years and receive core funding from the Department for Infrastructure to deliver transport services using our fleet of fully accessible minibuses complimented by our team of volunteer car drivers.
We also provide transport to local community/voluntary groups and non-profit organisations with an affordabale group hire option, registered groups can avail of our "with driver" or "self drive" minibus hire.
Services
Dial-a-lift (DAL) is a local Door to Door Transport Service for rural members to access local services within Cookstown or Dungannon. All passengers must be registered members of CDM Community Transport (an annual fee applies) and fares are based on the number of miles travelled per single trip. Smartpasses are accepted on this service permitting free or half fare travel.
Disability Action Transport Service (DATS) is a local Door to Door Transport service for urban members to access local services within Cookstown or Dungannon. Passengers must register with Disability Action to avail of this service (membership is free) and fares are based on the number of miles travelled, unfortuantly smartpasses are not accepted on this service. CDM Community Transport operates this serivce on behalf of Disability Action.
Group Hire provides local community/voluntary groups and not-for-profit organisations with an affordable option transport option, registered groups can avail of our "With Driver" or "Self Drive" option.
