Homeless Connect
Homeless Connect
Founded in 1983, we are the umbrella organisation representing those working with homeless people throughout Northern Ireland. We are the independent voice of the sector.
With a strong management committee and a dedicated staff team, we continue to work in collaboration not only with our sector partners, but with Government.
In doing so, we influence policy and provide comprehensive support service to the sector, and those who need their services.
Services
We offer a wide variety of projects and services to our members, including:
- general homelessness and substance use training programmes;
- service user participation (youthspeak; a community of service user trainers; and Service User Network);
- research, information, lobbying and representation; and
- CHNI FareShare, food sharing network.
We currently employ eighteen staff across a number of departments. We are based in Belfast and Derry City, ensuring that we are able to provide our services to the sector throughout N. Ireland.
