Electrical Training Trust

The Electrical Training Trust (ETT) is a private company, limited by guarantee and is registered for charitable status. ETT, is an employer led electrical apprenticeship training provider. Over 2000 apprentices have now qualified in the NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation

ETT is contracted by the Department for Employment and Learning (the Department) to supply training for the ApprenticeshipsNI Programme at Level 3 in the professional and technical area of Electrotechnical Services, across Northern Ireland. ETT also provides a wide range of business, health & safety and electrical training to various companies and industries. The work of the charity includes the provision of free CSR for all ETT apprentices and PPE (hardhats, jumpers, safety googles, steel toecap boots, high vis vests). Every year ETT give apprentices two electrical text books and a copy of the onsite guide.

There are ongoing subsidised places on specialist training courses for ETT apprentices – including the introduction to estimating and programmable logic controllers courses. The employers also benefit from the charity’s work through additional employer grants of £300, fully funded workshops including the 17th edition amendment workshop, Aico installer programme and marketing master class.
