We are an adult education, community and voluntary organisation. We offer free childcare to women attending our courses.
Aims
- To provide a secure space and support for all women to pursue their own development and make decisions about their own lives.
- To empower women to make their own choices by providing and promoting education, training and information in a neutral environment for all women.
- To provide free, quality on-site child-care so that women can access education and training opportunities.
- To place the issue of gender equality on the social agenda by encouraging local women to be more involved in social, political and economic decision-making.
Services
Creche
- Our creche is open for two sessions per day. 9.30-11.30am and 12.30-2.30pm. These run in conjunction with our courses to ensure that women attending the centre can benefit from a quality childcare facility on-site. Drop in spaces may be available - please phone 7134 1579 to book.
Room Hire
- We may have rooms available for hire, depending on the classes running. If you would like more information - please phone 7134 1579 to book.
Photocopying
- We can offer black and white copying at very reasonable rates, 5p per A4 and 10p per A3 single sided.
