Can we bank on the banks? Voluntary sector banking challenges survey 2024

Last updated
10 December, 2024
Over the last few years banking has been cited as one of the most frustrating challenges that voluntary and community organisations experience.

These obstacles range from difficulties in opening new accounts, particularly on the High Street, to frustrations encountered while updating essential business profile information.

NICVA is part of a UK wide working group that has been working to improve banking services for charities and voluntary organisations by communicating the issues to the banks.

This working group is now conducting research to ascertain if organisations are still encountering problems with their banks so we can continue to advocate for better banking services for voluntary organisations.

We would be very grateful if you would complete the survey below by Wednesday, 15 May at 12pm to let us know about your banking experience.

This survey is for anyone with responsibility for managing a voluntary organisation's banking activities. To complete it, you will need to be very familiar with the day-to-day management of your organisation's bank account(s).
