The Department is putting the finishing touches to the consultation document and is hoping to launch a 12-week consultation around the 20 May 2024. It is planning to hold consultation events both in person and online at the end of May and the first two weeks in June, dates to be confirmed.
It is important that all voluntary organisations are made aware of this consultation and encouraged to participate in it, including submitting a response. While the consultation period is 12 weeks, it is acknowledged that many small organisations may not operate over the summer and may therefore need to get their consultation responses in by the end of June.
