In February 2025, the UK Government launched its Digital Inclusion Action Plan to remove barriers to digital access and ensure everyone can participate in the digital world.
As part of this programme, the Department of Finance received funding to help address device poverty and to support community‑led digital inclusion projects.
VCSE organisations can apply for one free laptop device to keep and use for digital inclusion purposes by completing the online application form below.
To be eligible, applicant organisations must:
· be registered with the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland (CCNI)
· have an annual income of £100k or less, as recorded on the CCNI website
· demonstrate that the proposed use of the device meets one or more Digital Inclusion
