We’re inviting NICVA members to help shape the future of our work by nominating candidates to join our Executive Committee.

This is your opportunity to strengthen sector leadership, bring in fresh perspectives, and ensure NICVA continues to reflect the diversity, experience and ambition of the organisations we represent.

Joining the NICVA Executive Committee

Our current Executive Committee brings exceptional expertise and dedication to NICVA's governance. To build on this strong foundation we particularly encourage nominations from individuals with experience in the areas below. These are not requirements — they are areas where additional voices would be especially valuable.

Organisational Experience

  • Leadership within large organisations (£5m+ income)
  • UK-wide or international operations

Sector Specialisms

  • Disability
  • Housing and homelessness
  • Environment and sustainability
  • Arts, culture and sport
  • Equality and human rights
  • Women’s sector
  • Crime and justice

This is not an exhaustive list. Northern Ireland’s voluntary and community sector spans thousands of organisations. We welcome nominations from any background or specialism.

Strong governance comes from diverse perspectives. Whether you lead a small community organisation or a national charity, your insight and commitment can make a meaningful impact.
