QUB are offering a funded Summer 2024 programme to students and are now working with employers interested in advertising opportunities with them.
A key aim of the programme is to deliver impactful paid work experience opportunities, with a particular emphasis on student groups who are more likely to be be under-represented in the graduate labour market, and who may not have the opportunity to carry out work experience as part of their course.
This programme is open to SME's, NGO's, Charities and the Creative sector.
If you are interested in offering an internship opportunity to QUB students during the 2024 Summer period. Two distinct internship periods are available:
- Micro Internship - 100 hours of work, typically during June/July (fully funded)
- Summer Internship – slightly longer and 8 weeks duration, completed over the Summer months (match funded)
The specific nature of the internship will be up to you, but can often include research, operational support or injecting some fresh thinking into your existing workflows. The internship will also help boost the future employability skills of participating students.
