Belfast-based design agency The Foundation has announced the launch of The Foundation Fund, offering 25 days of professional creative support to charities, community projects, social enterprises, and third-sector initiatives across Northern Ireland.

The aim of the fund is to help local organisations tell their story more effectively, reach new audiences, and increase their impact. Recognising that many good causes often struggle to access high-quality creative and strategic services due to cost, The Foundation is offering this support free of charge.

Organisations applying should have a clear social impact, whether that is tackling pressing community issues, launching a fundraising campaign, or strengthening their brand to grow their reach. Applications are welcome from registered charities, community projects, social enterprises, and third-sector initiatives working within at least one of three key themes:

  • People – projects that improve lives through health, education, equity, mental wellbeing, or social impact.
  • Planet – initiatives that address climate change, promote sustainability, protect biodiversity, or reduce environmental impact.
  • Place – organisations enhancing local communities, celebrating culture, regenerating public spaces, and driving positive change.

The Foundation describes the fund as an opportunity to be “creative with impact”, giving good causes the momentum to amplify their mission and create meaningful change.

Applications for The Foundation Fund are open until 31 October 2025 (23:59 BST). Interested organisations can apply at: The Foundation Fund - Apply Now.
