Following the highly engaged "Intro to AI" sessions, NICVA is pleased to partner once again with CiviCode for a new, hands-on workshop designed specifically for the Voluntary, Community, and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector.

Are you ready to use AI safely and responsibly in your organisation?

The voluntary and community sector deals with sensitive information, vulnerable individuals, and relies heavily on trust. While AI can help organisations innovate and grow, using new online tools always introduces cybersecurity risks. This practical, 2-hour online workshop will take you beyond the basics, equipping you with the knowledge and tools to create a robust, ethical AI policy for your team.

What You Will Learn:

  • You will explore core ethical considerations, including privacy, data protection, bias, and fairness.
  • You will understand the essential elements of an internal AI use policy, such as defining acceptable purposes and outlining prohibited uses.
  • You will learn how to maintain compliance with the GDPR & Data Protection Act 2018 when handling organisational data.
  • You will establish clear guidelines for human verification, transparency, and accountability in your AI workflows.

What You Will Take Away:

This is an outcome-driven session. Participants will receive a comprehensive AI Policy Toolkit, complete with templates and collateral to help craft a unique AI policy tailored to your organisation's specific needs.

Additionally, the course fee includes exclusive follow-up reviews and feedback from CiviCode's experts once you have drafted your policy post-session!

Course Details:
