Do you manage staff in a voluntary or community organisation? Would you like to learn more about best practice approaches to managing employee absence?

Aimed at line managers and supervisors, this course aims to provide delegates with the knowledge and skills to implement an effective and consistent approach to absence management in line with current employment legislation and all relevant equality law.   The course explores the different types of leave available to staff with a particular focus on sickness absence.

In addition to strategies to measure and monitor sickness absence, the course outlines effective approaches to manage absence in an effective and consistent manner, including where stress is presenting as an issue.  This session provides a good opportunity for delegates to review their current approach against best practice considerations.

A toolkit of useful documentation & guidance will be provided to help embed the learning into your organisation's policy and associated procedures.
