Securing funds through funding applications can be crucial to an organisation’s ability to deliver. But who are the funders, where can you find them, which ones should you select, and what do  you need to consider before submitting your application?

Join Jocelyn Horton to find out how to strengthen your fundraising approach and applications to Trusts and Foundations.

Finding the right funder for you can be a challenge and asking for support from grant-making Trusts and Foundations means navigating your way through funding priorities, criteria for eligibility, and understanding the application process.

This session explores the numerous sources of funding, helping you to know where to look, what to look for and how best to approach trust fundraising before you being to type. We'll discuss what you should consider when selecting your funder and funding scheme, examine funder priorities including climate change, Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion, and Living Wage funders, and break down the different application processes.

And as part of #FundingFebruary's theme of Communications, we'll take a look at how best to articulate our stories to stand out from the competition.

This session will cover:

  • What are Trusts & Foundations and where to find them?
  • How to select the right funder and scheme for you?
  • What to know about different application processes
  • Tips for articulating your need
