This interactive and practical one-day training session with Sarah Travers will help you improve how you work with the media and communicate your message.
This course gives you a behind the scenes look at how journalists construct and interview for a story, so that you are prepared and ready for maximum impact when the cameras turn up live on the day. This session is part of our Communication Training Series.
As a charity or voluntary organisation, public and stakeholder awareness of your organisation and your mission is critical. The mainstream media can influence public dialogue and confer credibility on the issues you want to highlight. For this reason, the mainstream media is a publicity tool that you can’t ignore for your awareness campaigns.
Sarah Travers is a former BBC journalist and has designed this interactive and practical session to help you improve how you work with the media and communicate your message. You will also receive on the day one to one support, practice and feedback.
