The Old School Moneymore

The Old School Moneymore is a volunteer-led community initiative dedicated to restoring a historic former school building into a modern, inclusive community hub for Moneymore and the wider Mid Ulster area.

The project aims to preserve the building’s heritage while creating a welcoming, accessible space that supports local activities, wellbeing, and community connection. Through planned improvements and community engagement, The Old School will provide facilities for social, educational and recreational use, helping to reduce isolation, promote wellbeing, and strengthen community life for people of all ages.
