Invitation to iCommunity workshops
iCommunity, a joint project of NICVA and The Wheel that is bringing together nonprofits and social enterprises in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland to learn from shared experiences
You are invited to attend a series of in-depth workshops which will explore emergent local, regional, and all-island responses to challenges such as transitioning fairly to sustainability, rural connectivity and development, social enterprise models, digital inclusion and remote work, and the impacts of COVID-19.
The workshops are part of iCommunity, a joint project of NICVA and our partners The Wheel that is bringing together nonprofits and social enterprises in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland to learn from shared experiences.
Five exploratory meetings were held in February and March to open the discussions on these topics, and these meetings have informed the design of the forthcoming workshops. A report and recommendations will be published after each workshop.
Staff and volunteers of charities, community groups, NGOs and social enterprises are welcome to attend any of the workshops.
The workshops will be hybrid events, and there are a limited number of in-person places available at each workshop. Register below to attend any of the workshops, either in-person or online.
