NICVA in partnership with network organisations from across the sector - CO3, Development Trusts NI, Rural Community Network and Volunteer Now - invite organisations in the voluntary and community sector to share their views on this draft plan.
Have your say
An eight-week public consultation process on the draft Programme for Government 2024-2027 ‘Our Plan: Doing What Matters Most’ opened on 9 September 2024 and ends on 4 November 2024.
We will be jointly hosting three online engagement sessions for voluntary and community sector organisations, to provide an overview of the key priorities detailed within the draft plan and hear sector views and feedback.
Full details of these sessions, including contributors will follow soon and we are asking organisations and groups to register to attend one of the sessions below:
- Friday 11 October 10am-11.30am approx. (online)
- Tuesday 15 October 2.30pm-4pm approx. (online)
- Wednesday 16 October 11 am -12.30 pm approx. (online)
A representative from the TEO Programme for Government Consultation Team will be in attendance at each of the sessions to share information on the draft plan, take questions and hear views.
We hope the sessions will help us agree some key messages from across the sector regarding the draft plan and what the sector believes should be prioritised and considered within this next Programme for Government. It will be an opportunity to discuss what is in the draft PfG as well as what as a sector we feel has been overlooked or requires more attention or detail. . We are working with other network organisations in the sector - CO3, Development Trusts NI, Rural Community Network and Volunteer Now - to promote and deliver these sessions. We will make a summary of the key messages from these sessions available on our websites as soon as we can and before the public consultation closes.
The sessions will be held online in order to facilitate as many organisations and groups to attend as possible, given the tight timeframe for responding to this consultation.
If you have any particular access requirements, please detail these at registration.
If your organisation or group has specialist interest or knowledge on one of the priority areas identified within the PfG and/or can provide comment on the draft programme from the perspective of a particular sectoral interest and/or group and would be interested in doing a short input at one of the upcoming sessions please contact Kathy Maguire. to discuss.
If you can't attend any of the sessions as detailed above, we are still keen to hear your views.
Please feel free to provide any brief comment or feedback on the draft plan and/or share a copy of your organisation's response to the public consultation with us via email to [email protected] by Wednesday 16th October.
