The Northern Ireland Office (NIO) is currently undertaking a public consultation on the proposed three-year Investment Plan for the new Local Growth Fund (LGF) in Northern Ireland. This plan sets out priorities for investment for the period 2026 to 2029.
NICVA is inviting voluntary and community sector colleagues to join an online engagement session with the NIO team leading the public consultation.
This session will be an opportunity to learn more about the proposed investment plan and to share views on the key priorities and next steps outlined in the consultation directly with senior NIO representatives.
You can read more about the public consultation and how to respond here: Northern Ireland Local Growth Fund Consultation - GOV.UK
About the Session
This session will give organisations the opportunity to:
- Share views directly with senior representatives from the Northern Ireland Office
- Discuss the proposed investment priorities and programme delivery approach
- Help inform NICVA’s response to the public consultation
- Hear key information to support your own organisations response
The transition to the Local Growth Fund has already had huge impacts for the voluntary and community sector and the people it supports.
As we look ahead to programme delivery beyond March 2027, it is critical that the voice of the sector - and the communities it supports - is clearly heard as part of this consultation process.
NICVA encourages all interested organisations to join this session and have your say!
