Boring Wells is a faith-based community development organisation. Within the Church of Ireland it is considered a mission agency and 'fresh expression' church, and is both a dispersed and gathered network of people committed to boring for "fresh water" in a variety of contexts
Services
Currently there are 4 'wells':
- St Christopher's - food bank ('The Larder'), community gardening,
- 'Messy Church' & partnerships with local youth/community development networks including Youth Initiatives, Parkgate Community Association, EBCDA & others.
- WOW - A community of faith for children and young people with severe and profound learning disabilities and their families.
- Bodybuilders - an annual children and youth summer scheme in Dunmurry as well as youth work activities all year round on a cross-community basis. Tiny's - a weekly coffee morning in Moneyrea Community Centre.
