Services

We provide regular short breaks for family carers and at the same time, social and recreational activities for their relatives – adults with a learning disability.  

Our short breaks service takes the form of weekly respite – 4 hours per week and extended periods of respite in the form of weekend breaks from Fri – Sun (provided on an annual basis for each of our families).

We currently support 140 adults with a learning disability and 230 family carers by providing weekly respite breaks.  We deliver almost 24,000 hours respite on a weekly basis to our families each year. 

We also provide extended periods of respite in the form of weekend breaks.  This year we will provide weekend breaks for 130 of our families - an additional 7,000 hours respite.
