Cookstown Community Centre

Cookstown Community Centre is a newly established not-for-profit organisation consisting solely of volunteers with the aim of restoring and reusing the local Community Centre to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Cookstown and the wider district area of Mid Ulster and its environs without the distinction of age, disability, sexual orientation, ethnic identity, nationality, political, and religious or other opinion. Working with statutory authorities, community and voluntary organisations and local inhabitants, in a common effort to provide facilities for the advancement of health and wellbeing and promote positive mental health, reduce loneliness and isolation, encourage dialogue and community relations; to provide facilities for social welfare, for recreation or other leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of the said inhabitants.
