The Digital Arts Studios promotes the convergence of art and technology and provides invaluable access to the resources essential to the production of and engagement with digital arts. It provides access to digital imaging and audio equipment and software and delivers training in their use. Services

Equipment Hire

We hold a range of professional audio-visual equipment that is available for hire and we offer the best value for money in Belfast. Facilities

Our facilities include a studio for Artists in Residence, Hotdesk facilities where you can rent a workstation for anything from an hour to a month and a workshop room, which is also available to hire. We provide up-to-date workshops in a range of creative subjects from After Effects to Podcasting and all of our training can be offered as outreach. We curate visual and digital arts in screenings and exhibitions and hold a substantial archive of local and international artists’ work.

Membership

Members receive discounts on all DAS services and facilities hire including equipment hire and workshops. The annual membership fee is just £30 for individuals and £100 for organisations. Organisational members may have up to 5 named representatives who are entitled to attend training courses at the reduced cost. This provides arts, community or other groups with the opportunity to develop the skills of their own members.  http://digitalartsstudios.com/about

Residencies

The residency programme encourages and supports artists in the creation of innovative, challenging and experimental work by providing a creative hub with access to a range of facilities and resources. There are three international residencies and 12 UK & Ireland residencies each year. DAS provides three of the UK & Ireland residencies as awards each year. http://digitalartsstudios.com/artists
