Future Labs workshops are available online and DAS offers in-person workshops, studio sessions and one-to-one tutorials.

Facilities

DAS has two open-plan studios with desk spaces for up to 30 artists. We have equipment including a range of Mac Pro Computers, a PC Computer and various kit from cameras to Virtual Reality headsets. We also offer a range of software. A full list of equipment is available here. DAS provides a residency coordinator who works closely with residents assisting them with all technical needs and support. Each artist benefits from a feature page on our website.

Our facilities include a shared studio for artists and hotdesk facilities where you can rent a workstation for anything from an hour to a month. We run workshops in a range of subjects from creative code to DSLR filmmaking and all of our training can be offered as outreach. We curate visual, digital art for screenings and exhibitions and hold a substantial archive of local and international artists’ work.
