Downpatrick Autism Family Support Group

Set up in October 2017 to support families of children diagnosed with Autism in the Downpatrick Area. We hold a parent/carer support group meeting once per month. We also organise and hold Autism training for parents as well as stress relieving and self-care programmes. We also organise activities for children and their siblings by holding inclusive events. We organise many therapies for the children with Autism that otherwise families would not be able to avail of. These therapies help improve the daily lives of our families. Our aim is to promote Autism Awareness & Acceptance in the Downpatrick area.
