Glencairn Community Project

Glencairn Community Project are a group of individuals who have come together for the sole purpose of improving outcomes and opportunities for people in the Glencairn. Our current objective is to provide a community Hub in the estate for the use of Residents. To date we have secured funding from Belfast City Council toward the build costs, we are currently pursuing additional funds to ensure the full capital costs required to provide a centre of adequate size and facilities to meet the community need. We are currently in talks with Northern Ireland Housing Executive to secure land for the build, this will be at the old spar site opposite St Andrews Church.
We have laid the groundwork, We now need your support and input to drive this project to completion. As part of the process we need community input to ensure the centre provides the space and facilities to meet the community wants and needs.
We want to bring a level of cohesion within the community to develop residents and to engage with all members of the community to build a better Glencairn.
