Happy Women's Group

Happy Women’s Group (HWG) is a Belfast-based organization led by women from ethnic minority backgrounds. We support women navigating the asylum, refugee, and migration journey, especially those facing isolation, poverty, domestic violence, hate crime, FGM trauma, and mental health challenges. Through advocacy, health and wellbeing services, and culturally sensitive support, we empower women towards independence, integration, and resilience while building safe spaces of friendship and community.
