Participation and Practice of Rights Project

Participation and Practice of Rights Project

Participation and the Practice of Rights (PPR) was established by a coalition of groups and organisations concerned with social justice issues in Ireland, north and south, with emphasis on North Belfast and Inner City Dublin.

We currently work on four issues in North Belfast:

  • the right to adequate housing in New Lodge,
  • the right to the highest attainable standard of mental health across north and west Belfast,
  • the right to play in the Lower Shankill and
  • the right to participate in decision-making about urban regeneration at Crumlin Road Gaol & Girdwood Barracks.
