Penuel Children's Foundation

Presently we are supporting the work of Mihlali Children's Haven in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. This is a family-centred haven for children who have been orphaned, and those from backgrounds of abuse, abandonment or neglect. Working hand in hand with the South African Department of Social Development, the haven welcomes, loves and cares for each child until they are safely established in a family or other place of long term care. In this way we are consistent with the advice provided by the Charity Commission Northern Ireland in that we 'provide for the care and upbringing of children or young people deprived of the opportunity to be looked after or brought up by a competent person.'

Penuel Children's foundation are piloting a project in Northern Ireland called Starfish Soul Care, offering therapeutic day and weekend retreats for fostering and adoptive families.
