Services
The Cathedral boasts many fine works of art, including mosaics by the Martin sisters, stonework by Rosamund Praeger and Morris Harding, stunning stained glass, marble tiling, carved woodwork and delicate needlework, including the handcrafted Titanic Pall.
A modest charge applies and a self-guided audio tour is available. Services take place four times daily. The Cathedral has a number of fine choirs including the recently formed Girls’ Choir and the new Boys’ Choir, and from March 3 2015 offers Evensong every weekday in term time except Saturday.
Opening hours
<p>The cathedral is open for cultural visits on Monday to Saturday from 9am-5.15pm (last audio tour at 4.30pm), and from 1pm-3pm on Sundays.</p>
<p>It will be closed to visitors during services, some of which may be at short notice.</p>
