White Ribbon NI

White Ribbon is a global movement to end violence against women and girls.It was formed in 1991 by a group of male students in Canada in response to the brutal massacre of 14 female students.It’s goal - which is the same today - was to send out the message that violence against women in all its forms is unacceptable. White Ribbon NI was set up to challenge the attitudes and beliefs which lead to violence against women in Northern Ireland . We believe that everyone including men and boys ave an important role to play as Allie and agents of change at an individual and a systemic societal level.
