This directory is designed to help boards, staff teams and volunteers embed equality, diversity and inclusion into everyday practice. Whether you are strengthening your recruitment processes, improving governance, developing inclusive HR policies, or seeking specialist support, you will find a wide range of resources to guide your work.
Creating fair, inclusive and representative organisations is essential to building stronger communities. To support voluntary and community organisations on this journey, we have developed an EDI Resource Directory bringing together trusted guidance, practical tools and expert organisations.
This directory was developed by the NICVA EDI stakeholder group.
The directory includes:
- Human Resources – advice on respectful workplaces, employment relations, equality legislation and inclusive people practices
- Recruitment and Selection – tools to reduce bias, widen access and build diverse teams
- Fundraising – guidance on embedding EDI into grant applications and donor engagement
- Governance – resources to help boards champion diversity and lead with confidence
