Coaching and Mentoring are crucial skills in the workplace because they can increase employee engagement, leading to higher productivity, better turnover rates, and increased revenues. Whatever level you are at in your organisation this course has been designed to equip you with the knowledge, skills and confidence to get the best out of people. The benefits of attending this course include understanding how to coach and support others while increasing your competence and confidence as an effective coach or mentor. These skills include the art of deep listening, using powerful questions and examining barriers to coaching and mentoring and how to deal with them.

Learners are required to complete 3 assignments to achieve the full certificate.  This includes the Understanding element of the course which means one assignment that reflects the skills, practice and principles learned in each of the sessions.  The practical elements relate to assignment 2 and 3 and you are required to coach or mentor a minimum of 2, maximum of 3 clients demonstrating practice and reflecting on that practice.  In total, 18 hours of practice and one hour of recorded practice is required. All elements of the course must be completed by December 2026. Costs for accreditation include registration, certification (£205 and subject to ILM changes) and assessment of coursework.  Full details will be provided during the induction session

Anne Morrison from MorrLiving will be facilitating these sessions.  Anne is a qualified Coach and Mentor and is an accredited Strengthscope Practitioner.
