Jim Peacock tells us about their new Access Without Limits Fund which aims to ensure that the Award is available to all young people. 

The Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC), has just released an update on the process and timetable for developing the Northern UK Shared Prosperity Programme. 

Some unincorporated not for profit organisations which have assets held in trust may be required to register their Trusts with HMRC's Trust Registration Service.  The deadline is 1 September 2022.

Ciana Bradley from West Belfast Partnership Board participated in the West Belfast TLP course in June 2022. The participants were from the Springfield Road interface area.

Anna Delvin from South Belfast Sure Start, participated in The Transformative Leadership Programme (TLP) in South Belfast from April to June 2022.   

The Transformative Leadership Programme (TLP) has been running for over two and a half years in Belfast. It was part of the Transform for Change programme delivered by Belfast City Council and funded by Peace IV.

Whenever we discuss how to improve health we invariably neglect the biggest factor of all in making us ill: poverty.

The members’ survey was disseminated in May 2022 to heads of member organisations, with a response rate of 12%. Thank you to everyone who took the time to respond, we really appreciate it. 

We are delighted to launch our partnership with Ability Café, a social enterprise which recently won the tender to cater for meetings and conferences at NICVA  

NICVA is delighted to announce its new initiative on impact practice. This will include guidance, networking and training to enable impact practice to work for you. 

Sam from Belfast Exposed participated in our North Belfast 10 course in Spring 2022.

With the spiralling cost of fuel NICVA have been approached by several charities about the implications of increasing the mileage allowance paid to staff and volunteers.

A new capacity building accelerator programme, exclusively for recipients of the Department of Health's Cancer, Carers and Mental Health Funds, has been launched.
